Frequently asked questions

What does it cost? +

Most small brands land between $10 and $15 all-in per order, and some come in lower. Your exact price depends on your products, volume, and where your customers are. The free packaging audit gives you a real number fast.

Is there a setup fee or surprise account fees? +

No setup fee and no surprise account fees. You pay a flat, all-in price per order you ship, and nothing for orders you do not.

Do you have minimums or lock-in? +

No minimums and no lock-in. We earn your business every month. If we ever stop doing a great job, you can leave.

What if my volume is seasonal? +

That is the whole point of no minimums. In slow months you pay for what you actually ship. In peak, the network scales with you instead of charging you for capacity you do not use the rest of the year.

Does the price really drop as I grow? +

Yes. We price so we only make more when you ship more, so as your volume climbs your per-order price comes down automatically. We win when you win.

How is this different from a 3PL? +

Traditional 3PLs are built for pallets and big accounts. We distribute your inventory across vetted home-based operators close to your customers, with flat pricing, no minimums, and a partner who actually answers.

What is the smallest brand you work with? +

If you are shipping from home or a storage unit and it is becoming too much, you are our ideal fit. We built Middle Mile specifically for micro and small brands that traditional 3PLs ignore.

Which stores and channels do you work with? +

We connect to the stores small brands actually sell on, including Shopify, Faire, and TikTok Shop. Orders flow in and tracking flows back automatically.

Will switching to you cause downtime? +

No. Your current setup stays live while we prepare. We run in parallel, receive and reconcile your inventory, then run real test orders before you cut over. You only go live once it passes.

How long until I am live? +

Most brands are live in about four weeks: plan the move, connect your store, train operators on your standards, run test orders, then launch.

How do you keep packing consistent across locations? +

Every operator works from the same written packing standards for your brand. We train to those standards and audit against them, so a customer cannot tell which location shipped their order.

Is my inventory safe in a home-based location? +

Yes. Operators are vetted and background-checked, inventory is counted in and reconciled against your records, and accuracy and on-time rates are audited per location. Your stock is insured, and the distributed model means no single point of failure.

What happens if a location has a problem? +

Because your inventory is distributed across the network, one location having a bad day never becomes your bad week. There is always a backup location, and every location and operator is insured.
